Austin Producer CATches the Best Meows!
I love having Ari Koinuma, my Austin producer helping me to record. Ari really knows his stuff. He seems to really understand the big picture, how instruments blend. He did a great job helping me to set my character while recording "Wild Kitty". I'm really pleased with the vocals we recorded tonight.
Next week, I hope to have Cedric from the Bedlam Bards come into play on "Wild Kitty". Next I have to talk to my sister about recording on "When Kitty Eyes Are Smiling".
So what do you think? What should I name my cat single? I figure I'll use the Cat Logo for the single.
Tiziano and Torre had a blast with all the action this evening. Torre was pinned to the sliding porch door, watching and attacking a moth outside. The nail clicking was a bit much, so I had to lock him in the bedroom. Oddly enough, he is never the one who escapes. It's always Tiziano. I swear that cat has an opposable thumb!
When I finally went in to check on Torre, he was buried like E.T. on my bed. But instead of being among stuffed animals, he was buried among my clean, unfolded laundry. I tried catching a picture. But he meowed, got up, and jumped off the bed before I had the chance.
Next week, the cat music recording adventure continues...
