Cats in the Top 100 Comedy Songs
I'm always looking for radio or internet radio shows that are willing to play my Irish cat songs. It isn't often I find them. Occasionally a folk program, sometimes a childrens' show, but more often than not, you can hear a song on a comedy radio show.
That makes me purr, but I don't always hear which shows they are playing on. Today, I found a link of interest. DFSX Radio, who posted their Top 100 list. One of my cat songs made the grade: "The Cat Came Back... The Cat's Perspective" pulled in at #35. And for Star Wars fans, the Brobdingnagian Bards version of the "Jedi Drinking Song" came in at #39.

Tribute to Cats Gone to Catnipping Green
I got an email from cat lover who wanted to share a tribute to her cat who went to Catnipping Green. Here's her tribute to Fluffy and mine to all the kitties who've passed:This a link to my website. Fluffy (on the left) was a 12 year old Mainecoon born in Deptford New Jersey in 1993. He was a good cat with a pleasant personality. He liked to watch television, eat salmon and chicken, and watch the birds from the window sill. I enjoyed his company and when we spoke ot him, he answered "meow". I miss him. Help Celtic Cats Reach #10 on CDBaby
My Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers CD has been a hit since it was released. Now you can help it gain five thousand new fans.
When I first released it, it number one CD sold on CDBaby for a couple weeks. Today, I was checking out the Top Selling CDs in various categories on CDBaby and the album is listed as the #10 Most-Popular Spoken Word CD on CD Baby. This category includes all the Comedy CDs on the site!
Every August, CD Baby holds a contest to promote their top-selling CDs. The top 100 CDs will have a song included on a compilation CD that goes out to over 5,000 of their customers.
