Should Cats Eat Veggies?

Providing some fresh additions to food can be very beneficial and tasty for your cat. It's not uncommon for cats to selectively eat food containing nutrients they may be deficient in. This instinctive act sometimes alerts their people to the particular deficiency.

An outdoor cat relies on natural greens to aid his digestion. Not all cats are plant eaters. But if your cats, you can plant a pot of grass for leisurely nibbles, so your cat will have his own grass and not have to seek out your plants.

Serving vegetables to your can can provide extra means of fiber, or extra boosts of easily destroyed vitamins.

Cucumbers. You're laughing, right? I've seen may cats go crazy for a slice of cucumber. Peel the cucumber if it has been waxed.

Garlic. "Garlic?" Garlic is very good for your cat. Yes, unfortunately you may have to endure his garlic breath. Garlic contains vitamins B and C. It can purify the blood and rid the body of excess glucose.

Here are some more suggestions: Broccoli, Green Beans, Lima beans, Peas, Tomato Juice, Carrots, Celery.
