Irish Drinking Songs: The Cat Lover's Companion
It's almost done! Right now, I'm listening to the final master of my new CD, Irish Drinking Songs: The Cat Lover's Companion. The CD fulfills a neurotic passion of mine started by "Weird Al" Yankovic.
When I first bought his albums in high school, I wanted to hear his parodies back-to-back with the original song. I scoured record stores to find the original songs and made a couple of nice mix tapes like that. It took a bit o'time. So when I finished recording Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers, I decided to not be as cruel as Weird Al and actually record the original versions too.
Now at last, the album is nearly complete. Here are the songs you will find on this CD:
